| Bio: | Name: The Mystic Former Names and alias: Lorelei Sigma, Lacy Smith, Jane Doe Age: 789 Apparent age: Mid to late Twenties Powers and abilities: Binary circulatory system(Two Hearts) Respiratory Bypass(can hold her breath a REALLY LONG TIME), the ability to see all that is, was, must be, can be and must never be, mild telepathic abilities. The ability to regenerate instead of death. She has done it twice so far, and is in her third body. A time lord gets thirteen bodies, twelve regenerations. Special Equipment: The Former President of Gallifrey's TARDIS, a sonic blaster, a sonic screwdriver, a wallet containing a bit of psychic paper.. Bio and Backstory: Lorelei Sigma is a Time Lord...well, Lady, from the Planet of Gallifrey. After graduating from the Academy and passing her exams only a few steps behind her close friend Romana, she took the name Mystic. Unlike her older brother, who took the name Doctor because he always knew that everything had a rational explanation, she chose Mystic for the reason that she liked to believe maybe some bits of knowledge had no logical explanation and should remain just out of reach. It was one of the few things that was such a sore subject that other refused to use anything but the school nicknames for each other. The doctor Called the Mystic Lorelei, and The Mystic would only call the Doctor Theta. Despite it all, the two had always had a close relationship despite the 150 year age difference. She too took to traveling in time and space, saving planets, rescuing civilizations, defeating creatures that were out for power and nothing more, and more often than not, running for her very life. Occasionally she traveled with a companion, but the Mystic preferred to travel alone, or with her best friend Romona. One time, the two of them even ended up traveling with her brother, and that was a quite an adventure. When Romona stayed behind in E-space, the Mystic stayed with her and k-9 Mark II. When they returned to Gallifrey, Romona became the President, and made the Mystic the head of her secret service and closest advisor. Together, they were determined to lead the Time lords into a new Era, without the corruption and stodginess their race was known for. But then the Time War came. The Last Great Time War. It was no secret that the Daleks and the Time Lords had been at war ever since their discovery. Strikes and counterstrikes through time and space, sometimes using time as a weapon. And still the Daleks continued their terror through the universe. This was no longer a fight between the Time Lords and the Daleks, but a fight for the survival of the very universe and time itself. They had tried to end it before it began, sending the Doctor back in time to before the Daleks evolution, but he found he could not end them without giving them a chance to perhaps be different. And that mistake made the end of the war the most costly Time War in history. To end it all, the Doctor went on a suicide mission to send the twin suns of Gallifrey into supernova. The Daleks were destroyed, but so was Gallifrey and the entire race of the Time Lords. Blown out of time to save everyone else. Except for the children of Time. They were hidden as humans throughout time and space. Those who had civilian family members were hidden with them, and the eldest were given the Fob Watches with their time lord consciousness. But The President Romona and the Mystic carried a secret. They protected the watches of those who had no family left. So when it became clear that they could not win the war, The Mystic and her team left with the President. They almost made it too. But they were waylaid by a scouting party of Daleks. The Mystic was the only one to make it back to the waiting TARDISes, badly injured and on the verge of regenerating. She took one last look at the burnt orange sky and silver trees before vanishing into the vortex where Lorelei Two became Lorelei Three and she lost everything and everyone she had ever loved. And so she travels, saving planets, rescuing civilizations, defeating the bad guys, and running for her life, because it is the only thing she has left. | |||||||||
